As you know I absolutely love Slim Aarons photographs.   I instantly fell in love with Desert House Party.  I instinctively knew, the colours, the fashions, the achitecture and the characters….it just draws you in.  I don’t know how many times I have looked at Desert House Party, Poolside Gossip and others in this particular series and wondered what conversations they were having... the fact that they were friends with the rat pack of Hollywood - just makes it all more intriguing!

One of the other things that makes Slim's photos so interesting is all the amazing locations around the world they are taken and the stories behind the rich and famous people featured in the photos.  So many stories to tell.  No wonder Slim was so well loved in the world of the rich, famous, royalty and socialites of this era.
